Grooming and abuse victims can be male or female, adults or children.

Abusers can be both male or female.

Our mission is to empower communities to tackle the issue of grooming and abuse. As most abuse is committed by adult males against young girls, we feel that it is important to highlight this.

For the most part, most of the sections are just as applicable to boys as to girls.

Grooming and abuse happens in all communities, irrespective of race, religion, colour or creed

Most people have been appalled at the lack of action taken by official agencies in tackling grooming and abuse. As a result, law abiding and hardworking citizens of Pakistani heritage felt it was vital for a grassroots campaign to raise awareness of grooming and abuse.

You must notify the social services department at your local authority without delay. For urgent help, contact the police immediately.

PAGAL is an awareness campaign. If you have information that will help us achieve our mission, please contact us.

Our aim is to get people to report grooming and abuse to the relevant authorities. We do not get involved in naming and shaming people.

You can: Start talking about preventing grooming and abuse within your circle of friends, family, work colleagues and community. Join our grassroots campaigns on tackling grooming and abuse. Donate to PAGAL so that we can carry on with our vital work.
