PAGAL is a community-led and voluntary operated charitable organisation. Neither the Board of Trustees nor any of the volunteers that help us receive any financial reward for their efforts.
“The biggest disease today is not leprosy or tuberculosis, but rather the feeling of being unwanted, uncared for and deserted by everybody.” – Mother Teresa
However, in order to raise global awareness of the issue, we have to spend large sums of money, both in order to keep our office running, and also to produce material that we can use for print and social media, radio and TV campaigns and for other meaningful purposes too.
We rely solely on donations from generous and concerned supporters like yourselves to help fund our campaigns.
“Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them.” – The Dalai Lama
In September 2015, we officially launched our petition asking world leaders to prevent young girls from being sexually abused. Please sign this petition and share with your friends too.
At the same time, we also launched our leaflet with some facts around abuse. This can be found on our Facebook page.
We will be launching further campaigns in due course.
In the meantime, please be sure to keep up-to-date with PAGAL via Twitter or Facebook.
We would also welcome any proposals for future campaigns.
Please feel free to contact us with your ideas, suggestions and general feedback.
